Craniosacral Therapy
What Is It Really and How Does It Work?
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on manual therapy method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. CST works with the CranioSacral rhythm - the flow of the cerebral & spinal fluid.

CranioSacral therapists release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, which aids in the facilitation of the body's natural healing processes.
Patients report improvement from a wide range of medical problems such as headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ, and fibromyalgia. CST has also been show to help relieve symptoms associated with: Autism, Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia, Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
